The client’s concern

Cooperation – speed

The client’s brief

The client needed to translate customer documentation into 22 languages. In each country, our client’s local marketing team or agent wanted to check the translations before these content pieces became available in any form. The client wanted local teams, either in-house sales teams or agents, to be able to add their own touches in terms of style and possibly terminology, while still maintaining central control over the content and translation budget.

Lexitech’s solution

Industry knowledge – proximity

The client had relied on our services for many years. As part of our working relationship, we had always provided our client with online access to all translated content. That way, local teams could review the content, add comments and make changes that were immediately available to translators and revisers equally. In this way, the information was always kept in a central location (‘one source of truth’) and we managed to reduce turnaround times enormously.

What problem did Lexitech resolve?

The client manages its technical and marketing communications for the whole of Europe from one central point, but can allow local teams enough flexibility so that communication with local markets is as efficient as possible.
